1. Sizes of Our Cakes / Cupcakes

Cakes: Our standard cakes are about 3″ in height, which is slightly taller than the usual bakery standard cakes. Customised cakes are usually around 4″-5.5″, depending on number of pax to serve.

A taller cake would mean that you can serve more pax. We usually recommend:
– 4″ cake for 4-6 pax
– 6″ cake for 10-14 pax
– 8″ cake for 22-26 pax

Cupcakes: Regular (top diameter around 6.5cm) / Mini (top diameter around 5.5cm). Our regular cupcakes will be baked using the standard dark brown paper liners. Mini cupcakes will be in white paper cups.

 

2. How to Order

You can directly cart out on our online store. If the quantity that you wish to order is not reflected here, please email us at petitejoybakes@gmail.com:

Please also attach sample photos of cakes or desserts that you like.

For manual customised orders, there will be a deposit of 50% upon confirmation of order to secure date (2 weeks before event date), and the remaining 50% at 1 week prior to delivery date. For orders that are >1 week, we require 100% payment. Deposit can be arranged via bank transfer, PayLah!, or cash payment in person at our studio.

Orders will be accepted on first-come-first-serve basis.

Should you need to cancel, you will need to do so at least 1 week prior to event date. Deposit will be non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

 

3. Cake Design

We do not replicate exact cake design from other shops or cake makers. We recognise and respect the time they have taken to design the cakes. What we usually do is to modify the design, with your preferred color or elements from the design, and merge together with our style.

We strive towards creating cakes that are more than desserts in parties – celebration cakes that bring fond memories and smiles even many years later.

 

4. Information to Include During Ordering

For quantity that is not reflected in our online store, or for fully customised cakes:

5. When is the Cut-Off Date for Orders?

For standard cakes and cupcakes, 3 days in advance (no further customisation to cake design).

For fully customised cakes and cupcakes, 2-3 weeks in advance.

 

 

6. Rush Order

Should you need a cake urgently, with event date less than 2 weeks away, we may be able to take in last min orders, depending on schedule.

However, there late fee may apply:
– For standard cake booking (no customisation to cake design), less than 2 weeks away, +10% of cake price.
– For customisation cake booking, less than 2 weeks away, +20% of cake price.
– For standard cake booking, less than 1 week away, +15% of cake price.
– For customisation cake booking, less than 1 week away, +35% of cake price.

The late fee applicable is towards rush for purchasing of ingredients and materials, and/or for rush design and cake brief.

 

7. Collection & Delivery

We offer free delivery for orders S$280 and above. You are encouraged to self-collect at our studio location.

For delivery, we engage in experienced partners. There will be a charge of S$25 per location; and additional of S$5 into ERP zones. There will be a $10 surcharge if delivery route exceeds 20km.

8. Cancellation / Refund

For cancellation of orders, there will be a 50% refund back to you, only if the cancellation date is more than 1 week from event date. This is due to a non-refundable 50% deposit, as we would have reserved a slot for your order, and may have rejected other orders so that we can fulfill yours.

 

9. Opening Hours

We are closed on every Monday.
